German cg artist Onofrio Sisto has developed an interesting script for 3ds Max, called VR Sun Tool. As you may have guessed from the name, it is designed to facilitate the work with V-Ray Sun and Sky. And we can say that the author has done good job in this direction. The settings for Sun and Sky are arranged in one panel with several groups, which saves time delving into menus. There are also several other options that look very useful and are similar to mental ray Daylight system. These are control buttons for the season, time of the day, vertical rotation of the sun and others. From the video below you can see VR Sun Tool in action.
